materials and shapes





mostly been working on master materials that I can then plug maps into instances allowing me to texture a varity of objects, such as girders, pipes and the buildings. Also just started creating some more elaborate shapes that will be pasted over the surface

been in france for a week

So hooked up some more of the shader, i can slide in dust, rust, dirt, and change anything i want later if I decide i dont like it, for example, the rust looks like dusty mud.

so gone back to substance deisgner now and im going to use input normal and mask to see if i can get this deisgner material to function in the same way, then hopefully texture most of the buildings using this method

texturing buildings roughly




Just doing basic unwraps of the buildings using the 3 panel textures i've created.

Later on I will go back over them and add in more unique details and build up the details if i have enough time. Naturally still have most of the rest of the ship to do...whoda thunk
