Cockroach

Quick 20 minute lunch time sketch, more of a colour play than a detailed drawing otherwise i should have used a texture brush. Strangely the pc here cant handle textures or complicated brushes.... very annoying. Never really notice that problem when painting 512 textures though :C

A quick leaf sketch, 15 minutes. My back hurts too much to do this today.

Third tree study

Half hour bonsai tree, im starting to get a bit more happy layering down noise and colour for the tree's foliage. I understand theres still no detail in the picture and don't really know how i'd go around that if i had to. But for now, quite happy.

Another attempt at a tree. Was trying to use a more of a noisy brush to see if i could get a more bumpy effect  for the leaves and with a little bit of speed. Quite happy with it, 30 minutes

Tried to grey scale a tree. I don't think it was particularly successful. Combination of two things, one being the tree is too close, so the texture doesn't really give the tree any definition and secondly the levels are all off making the tree look weird. 45 minutes or so.

I will try some more tree studies over the next few days to see if I can improve this awful foliage trouble i'm having.

ugly duckling

Here is an ugly duckly, 45 minutes. Not because It'll grow up to be a beautiful swan. its just ugly because I cant draw for shit. Thank god I didn't do a portrait of someone tonight, that would have been a disaster piece, which is also a good song. dem bass drums yo. DOUBLE IT UP.

I was going to draw a real ninja, but that would just be a blank picture. So i drew this fake ninja instead. 45 minutes

PPUG FAN

Its a fan with a pug on it. 15 minutes

Elephant

So I spent an "hour" on this elephant.... well, really it was more like half an hour as I got distracted by makinga  cup of tea and watchingsome people arguing which was better "dota or lol"

Quiet bridge

So I was going to draw a bridge, with a troll and some gothic stuff all over it, but then i realised the bridge itself took me bloody ages. damn bricks. So yeah, just wapped some bushed around it like the reference I used instead and claimed it finished! 1 hr

HAMGUIN or PENGSTER

SOOOOOO, got in from the pub today, asked my housemates what to draw... After the initial "cocks, penis's cocks" standard response, it was a shoot up between a hamster or penguin. So here you go, its an abomination of adorableness and horror. A pengster or a hamguin.

Not sure which name I'd prefer more, seeing as pengster reminds me of gangsta's which clearly this thing is, whilst hamguin reminds me of ham, and ham is bacon and everyone fucking loves bacon.

So today, i sat down to do my drawing, got about ~1 minute in to drawing a fist, realised I'd done it on the wrong layer , that im tired, lazy and slightly tipsy still. screw this tonight. im going to bed.

Bearded dragon

A friend suggested to draw a dragon. I thought that was a bit balls deep. So instead I drew a bearded dragon. Its like a dragon, just a little more shitty. 1 hr. spent time faffing around trying to get the brush pattern to work. as you can see, it wasn't that successful. Ah well

Demon goat with a satchel.

Struggling for inspiration I asked my friend for advice on what to draw. One said a massive cock, the other then claimed steam punk boots followed by this demon goat with a satchel. I know full well I cant do the stream punk boots justice so i opted for the cock. here is a goat thats demonic, with a satchel. It has nothing to do with cocks. 1hr

Wabbit

God i hate these critters, they turn me into a drooling snotty puddle of goo. this one though, not so bad. 45 minutes work, wanted to try and give it a fluffy feel so i quickly traced its outline but blocked the fur and the rest manually. meh. so so

1hr sketch from reference. very pleased with this! its a tired Roman soldier. The red bits to the left were for the skirt but I ran out of time.

Bone-r

Got a raging bone, tried to give it a bit of a texture, without using a texture, perhaps next time it would be easier to use a texture. Well I know it would in fact be easier to use a texture, but that's cheating when studying how things are formed... This is definitely a semi completed study of the one legged monster. I'll have another bounce on it at a later date.
