Turning over a new leaf

whacked some more leaves on it. Didn't want to over do it as its not a dense tree took about 30 minutes until I got the leaves in roughly the shape i'm happy with

Tree leaves

Didnt have long tonight to spend on this. Spent 30 minutes faffing around making the alphas and sorting out some stock shapes to spin around the tree. will detail up this properly later on.

Leaf me alone

Almost finished, ive made the shapes now, drawn some branches to connect the leaves, but need to spend a little time re-directing the light. 1hr

Leaves

Added another leaf type, and made a stick with some hanging off. Will re-arrange the right side to be a thicker cluster rather than a branch. Probably will resize it all so they're smaller too, plenty of resolution available. Anyways 40 minutes work as I need to go out.

leaf me alonnee

Just spent some time looking at leaves. Then i sketched some, they wernt so good, I drew over them with more defined lines, just to mark out shapes until I was a little more happy. I'll make a variety of leaves then put them together to form some tree leave texture clusters which I'll use to decorate. 1h

Barking mad!

Sorta looks like bark if you stand back and squint. Much the same it needs far more polish. 1 hr more work on it. should tile fine. though haven't actually checked it yet....

Bark

Started painting some bark for the tree, i know it looks like rock. But hey! when you look at bark, it acutally does look like rocks, from afar.... just more noisey, and without the noise it looks like rocks. Thats my justification. 30 mintues ( I ahve to go out)

More tree

Spent a little more time sculpting the trees shape, adding in some nooks n crannys and such. Will add some roots and maybe make some of the grooves shallower. Then itll be good to bake. 1 hr more work

Tileable stones texture

Finsihed up the texture from yesterday. added some noise to it. Not 100% happy with it at the moment, but i have enough to work with here. Will continue on the other bits before coming back to polish this further
