Life drawing

After the other day drawing that lady, I decided that I should revisit my attempts of drawing people.  I've spent a little too long drawing these I feel as they're only line drawings, but all in all quite happy with the shapes I've produced. 45 minutes work, based off reference from typing life drawing into google.

Old fashion lawn mower

A quick sketch od an old fashion lawn mower. I was too drunk yday to draw a picture and too tired today to do a decent one. 20 minutes

Posing lady

Ignore her ugly face, and stubby hands. I need more practice with people :P 1 hr

Hay bale

A quick 15 minute sketch of a hay bale in a field.  Was going to put more detail in however got distracted talking to a good friend and as a result ended up getting very little done before I need to go out.

Something cheesy

Cheesy drawing, just a 25 minute colour practice, trying to get the densities done, if you look carefully, the areas where the cheese is thickest is darker (the bits between the circles). The circles are dark from shadow, then the thinner parts are lighter and also orangey/ yellow. Quite happy with this, but its from reference for better lighting study.

Hand crushing a can

Half hour sketch of a hand crushing a can, from reference no trace though! quite happy  with this. Left the initial outline on as i've done a cartoony colour pallet so taking off the lines it just looks very sloppy.

Quick landscape and tree study sketch

35 minute landscape sketch, just trying to improve my trees. quite happy with this actually!

Broken glasses

Some quick sketches of glasses, mostly just playing with new brushes I have and trying to get some confidence in drawing shapes with simplier strokes. 40 minutes including @20 minutes just playing with brushes

Burning book

Burning book, just playing with some new brushes advised to by a friend, still rusty with them and spent most of my time figuring out which did what. Either way, they're a great set and you can find them. 1hr
