Wow ive had fun tonight, been busy bashing out that sword to run in PRB modes. Been learning about shaders and materials and all sorts of stuff. Took a bit of figuring out but I got my sword rendered with a whooping 2 materials on it! The plastic and the metal that is. See the dull plastic handle, against the shiney blade. BASK IN MY GLORY.
Used xnormals to bake out a normal, ambient and height. Good job me, I sent them out as MWP files, and whilst it only took 5 minutes to render, I need to go out now. I'll redo them tomorrow as filetypes that make sense which photoshop can acutally open.
Did some feedback, polish up the trousers, adjusted some seams slightly to remove some of the lumpiness. also adjusted some features on the face. Finished up some of the retopo aswell. Dotes time.
So not done much again, just progressed a little with the unwrap, its almost there. just need to tidy it down to the square. Also was reading about hidden unity shaders to render trees in a more optimised fashion. How exciting, i know.
